Another long distance hike experience done in stages this time. I have always went for overnight hike to cover one stage of Abbey’s Way.

There are books out there to help you navigate the journey, but here you get an extensive all together idea about this long distance hike. I recorded the experience on camera, so you can get an idea of the terrain and how it looks like there in different weather conditions and in this case even seasons. Plus I have written multiple articles about the experience with tips, how to pack, where to camp and how it might feel as well.

So if you are a hiking and camping enthusiast, but you don’t know where to start your adventure. You are a planner and need to have an idea of where you’re going, this project can be a valuable resource of information for you.

Experience captured on camera – here you find all videos in order starting in Kelso -> Jedburgh -> Hawick -> Selkirk -> Melrose -> Kelso (just click on the arrow)

What you need to know – here you find all articles about Abbeys Way – tips, tricks, experience, how to pack etc. ( more articles to come)

Usually I really enjoy recording, it helps me see the world around in different ways and process the experience…

Solo wild camping Borders Abbeys Way in Scotland

I reflect on my second solo wild camping experience along the Borders Abbeys Way, a scenic yet overlooked path in the Scottish Borders. This historical route, marked by ancient abbey ruins, invites contemplation of its perilous past while offering modern walkers a safe and adventurous experience.
